I found in Audrey's diaper a . . .

Quarter! I write this for the mommy crowd, I know most of you don't really care about the contents of my daughter's diaper, ok so no one is forcing you to read this.
Well, last night Adam changed Audrey's diaper before church (what a great dad!) Then she went to nursery normal stuff. . . When we got home we had a quick bite and then I got her ready for bed. I opened up her diaper to see a Quarter! Now, I must tell you I was ever so grateful that this was only a wet diaper, not the stinky sort. So, how did quarter get in her diaper? Who knows at church it could have come from anywhere. I will say she had on a skirt/shirt no onesie outfit, so it would be easy for it to slip in. . . Ok, so now your thinking what kind of nursery workers let your child have a quarter. Well guess who was one of the nursery workers last night, yep your guessed it M-E! Well, I'm just thankful that she didn't swallow it! Adam said that I should tell the cashier (when I give her the quarter) "I found this quarter in my daughter's diaper." I'm sure that would get a look! I on the other hand have decided she earned that quarter and will put it in her piggy bank.
So, have you ever found anything interesting in your child's diaper? (Please don't get to graphic, for the sake of those who are of the weaker stomach sort!)

As for an update on us, we got back from NJ last Saturday, with more excitement than I had hoped for.
Friday night Audrey was pretty fussy, but I finally got her to sleep, only for her to wake up less than an hour later with coughing and crying hysterically. We ended up in the ER where the diagnosis was Croup and Ear Infection in both ears. They gave her a breathing treatment, steroid, Motrin, and a prescription for and antibiotic. I had heard that they are not giving antibiotics for ear infections as much and I totally understand that, but with the croup and the fact we were far from home, we decided we better get the antibiotic this round. The interesting thing to me was that she never ran a temperature. My mom said I would have ear infections and never have a fever either. Needless to say, we had a miserable flight home with Audrey's ears and the altitude change. I feel sorry for the rest of the people on that flight she cried for over half the flight PTL it was less than 2 hours. She is usually such a good flyer, but poor thing was in so much pain, and of course refused her sippy and pacifier for much of the flight. Oh well, we survived and PTL her ear drums didn't rupture (we had tried to get a later flight, but it was too much $$ and the doctors didn't think it would rupture, but I guess it was slight possibility). I take her back to our pediatrician tom. for a ear check.

So that is a tidbit of our most recent adventure, I hope to post pics soon.
I did attempt to post a picture, but I don't think it is going to show up, and no it was not of Audrey's diaper. It was a picture of our family at the zoo, maybe next time!

I'm sad to say I've never found any money in my daughter's diapers. :( I guess the most "interesting" and definitely gross thing I've encountered in Chloe's diaper were corn kernels. At the time I didn't know they weren't digestible and I was disgustingly surprised to see those. (Hope that wasn't too graphic! I think most moms have strong tummies by now.)

Bummer about Audrey's croup and double ear infection! How is she feeling now?
