Sippy Cup Help!!

Ok so I need cleaning help! How do you get your children's sippy cups clean? I don't know about you, but it seems that no matter how hard I try, I can't get them clean! I looked up online some ideas and some are things I have tried. Let me know if you use on of these methods or if you have another tried and true method.

Boiling
Scrub with bottle brush or toothbrush
Use a Q-tip, toothpick, knife or fork
Soak in bleach, vinegar, baking soda, or denture cleaner??
(the last one I have not tried but sounds intereting . . .)

Also what kind of sippy do you prefer? Playtex, Nuby, or some other brand?

I am very interested your thoughts! I'm sure you all have different opinions, so let me hear them!!

And NO Audrey has not yet tried Starbucks Coffee; she doesn't need any help in the energy department!

We like the straw sippy cups. Much less of a pain to keep clean, if you ask me! :-) I just throw everything in the dishwasher to sanitize, and then do a good inspection to make sure it's clean. Haven't had any problems whatsoever. I prefer the Nuby straw cups, but those do get a little more grody than the Playtex straw cups. I just threw away a Nuby straw and have to order some replacements online.

I know from working at a child care center for 13yrs the ones that have a bottle feel to them I think they are the nuby ones but the top looks like a bottle that is not a good one if you her of the bottle do not get that one. As for cleaning them we put them in the dishwasher or let them soak in hot water and dishsoap hope that helps.

I like the playtex ones. I had tried gerber and nuby and I always felt like they leaked. As for cleaning them I just throw them in the dishwasher. I take the valve out and put it in the silverware holder. Only sometimes will there be something stuck in a crevice in the lid and I just take a q tip and wipe it out. I got the playtex sippys that I used for the girls from Lynne. I only had to replace a couple valves. Now I think I got rid of them and will have to buy more for Benjamin. But the ones I had for the girls made it through at least three kids if not more. So they were durable.
