Busy Days!!

Well, this post is long overdue!! We found a house in the right location (picture above) and the Lord has been opening the doors PTL!! It was a repo house, but is in great condition! The bank accepted our offer and it has been a whirlwind of a week!! My in-laws were here for the weekend and they spoiled us all:-) Lots of fun for Audrey.
About the house, it is in wonderful condition, but there are a few minor things we had to do to it before it got appraised by the bank. You see the people took almost all of the light fixtures and outlet and light plate covers. I guess banks won't lend money on a house that doesn't have those things, who knew?? So, we got the light fixtures Monday installed on Tuesday and now we wait for the appraisal. Here is a timeline of how God has worked in our housing situation

January 29 Put for sale by owner signs in our yard
January 31 First call on the house they want to see it
February 1 Same people come and look at the house
February 2 Same people make an offer on the house
February 4 We come to a verbal agreement on the price
The following couple weeks we made offers on several houses and for whatever reason the Lord clearly shut the door.
March 3 Looked at the house the repo house
March 4 Made an offer on the repo house
March 5 Close on our house
March 6 Bank accepted our offer on repo house
March 11 Repo house inspected all is good!
March 12-13 Financial aspect taken care of. Wait for the house to be appraised and let the Bank do the rest!
March 24 Lord willing close on the repo house, with immediate occupation.
March 24-29 MOVE!
March 31 Must be out of our current house. We also are leave for a college trip to see Northland and Maranatha
April 5 Return from college trip and unpack!
We are thankful for the Lord working and we know that HE will help us to get everything done in HIS time, not ours!
