Something must be wrong when you feel like it must be a tropical heat wave when the outdoor thermometer reads 52 degrees. I think I'm going to shed my sweater and pull out a short sleeve shirt!! Ok, so maybe I'm just desperate to have spring come!! The sun is shining in and I'm busy packing so I feel like I'm roasting!! I love spring (although my allegies say otherwise); I love the signs of new life; grass growing, flowers blooming. . . For now I will be grateful that the snow is melting away in our front yard!!
Any of you northerns ready for warmer weather?? Southerns you probably have no clue of what I'm talking about:-)

Being a northerner born and bred, but transplanted to the somewhat south... I am SOOOOOO ready for spring! This crazy 10 inch snowstorm we got last weekend was too much for me! I'm so glad I live down here, though, instead of up north! It was 70 degrees here today, and I took my little boy that I work with to the park! It was wonderful!
I'm with ya - can't wait for spring! I only wish it would arrive when it's supposed to. :) Think we'll have warm sunny weather by next thursday (the first official day of spring)?
I'm not ready for the heat & humidity of summer, but I would LOVE the snow to melt and some weather in the 50's and 60's! We have had a beautiful sunny week, so that at least is something!! I'm also VERY curious to see how my garden transplanting project from last fall went - and see how successful we were at ridding our yard of plants we deemed "nasty"
You're right about the perspective of where you live regarding temperatures. It was in the high 50s today here and I was thinking "oh no -- we're back to cold weather again!"
