We love to bike ride as a family, hopefully we will enjoy doing this all summer long!
Adam, His Mom, and Audrey swinging (Audrey loves to swing with anybody)
After we took out the carpet before we put the new floor on
I didn't take a completed picture, but it is done! It is a formica floor and in this picture the back half is complete
Hurray for a park close to the new house, Audrey would live their if we let her!
I have been holding off blogging because I was waiting for a time when I could actually catch up on some of our happenings and not just more pictures. Alas, it looks like that won't happen anytime soon. Maybe by the time Audrey is 21! I'm off to see Baby Jonas Conley, Esther, Shannon, and my parents on Saturday. After that I'm only home on the weekends til June 30th. Crazy I know, but it will all be worth it!
As for our happenings we put in new floor that the Lord provided (among so many other things for the new house) on Memorial Day and Adam did a wonderful job!!
While we were away celebrating our 5th Anniversary, Audrey told the sitter she need to go to the potty and went twice!! I was really excited and wanted to pursue this, but she has not gone on the potty since; figures, so I'm really not going to visit the issue for a while yet. No sense causing myself more stress.
Oh and we are dog sitting this week and guess what, the worst thing that could happen, happened; she ran away!! Long story that I won't bore you with all the details, but here is the summary. We got her Friday night, she got out Sunday night. We have done everything in our power to get her back. We called the dog shelters, talked to everyone we've seen (great way to get to know everyone in our new town!), put up posters, etc. Ok, so the crazy thing is that the dog doesn't come when called, she doesn't even come to her own family let alone us (can I insert her we love our dog and she has NEVER caused this much trouble, she is very loyal)!! So the funny thing is she was in the road in front of our house on Monday (so she knows how to get back), after that we have been receiving phone calls of her location. The blessing is we've seen her everyday and today I got within 10 feet of the dog, only for her to run! AHHHH, can you sense our frustration? Anyway, we'll wait for another phone call, hope she doesn't get hit by a car, and hope we can get her back before her family comes back on Sunday! We have let them know the situation.
Never a dull moment!!
I'll post some pictures and then I'm off to do dishes and laundry!! Have a good Wednesday.

Oh Trisha! I'm praying for you with that whole dog situation. We had that happen to us when we were sitting a friend's dog as well. We still can't believe that she got out of the little space in the fence that she did. We did the same things as you in order to find her. Eventually (five days later without a good sighting) she ended up coming back and whining outside our home. Godiva was inside and in her cage and began whining and woke us up in the early morning, sure enough, looked outside and there she was in our front yard. Whew! What a horrible feeling. Let us know how it goes!
we can't wait to see you. thanks for the picture update!
That's exactly how I feel about being behind on blogging and I had to laugh when I read your post because I also "gave up" a couple of days ago and posted something for the family who are always asking for pictures of the girls. There definitely isn't going to be any detailed catch up of all the exciting events of our lives (I am so kidding - it's probably only exciting to us. :-)
Yeah about the park.
No way about the dog. That is so frustrating especially when you were close to her and she ran!
